Mountain driving:
Advice from the Serre-Palas hotel to ensure you have an excellent trip to our region.
-The mountain road is not a circuit
-Be careful in curves to the left, not to encroach on the opposite lane
-Attention on a inside curves, cyclists, pedestrians, objects (stones, etc.) will be there
-Be careful in the pins curves risk of slipping (diesel, oil, etc.)
-Fill up with gasoline before the passes for small tanks bike
-Climatic conditions can change quickly in the mountains (snow, rain, hail, cold, wind)
-Beware of tunnels: visibility at the entrance and exit, humidity, potholes, etc.
-Beware of crossing a bridge and bends close to a torrent: humidity, ice in cold weather.
-And look after animals crossing roads.
Have a good trip and take care …
